STRI-hMSC (Human Stem Cell Conditioned Media) is a stem
cell culture fluid developed by STRI, which contains about 250 different kinds
of growth factors, including FGF, PDGF, VEGF, KGF, HGF, Cytokine, fibronectin,
and collagen. Stem cell growth factor is a generic term for polypeptide
(protein compounds), that promotes cell division, growth, and differentiation. The
growth factors, cytokines, and other useful proteins are obtained from the
conditioned media of mesenchymal stem cells isolated from the Wharton’s jelly
of the umbilical cord during the process of stem cell culture.
